The blast furnace overhaul of a steel plant developed and designed a low-cement wear-resistant castable water-cooling module.

1. Production method

The water-cooled module is used to weld thick-walled seamless steel pipe directly on the furnace shell instead of prefabricating in blocks, which avoids the difficulty of welding when the block is docked. The utility model has the advantages that the water pipe and the furnace skin are welded inside and outside, and the sealing property is good, preventing the gas from running away. The water-cooled pipe is welded to the furnace shell as a whole, solves the problem that the water pipe leaks into the furnace due to uneven heating of the furnace body.

2. Casting method

When applying the water-cooling module technology, the blast furnace is directly cast in the furnace body. It is divided into three layers from bottom to top, and the casting thickness is 400mm. The polyethylene board is used to divide the round into six parts, effectively preventing the bloating crack caused by the integral pouring.

3. Structural arrangement of water-cooled tubes

The water-cooling module of the furnace body has three layers of water-cooled pipes, 96 layers per layer, and 8 sets of water-cooled pipes in the same layer are connected in series, using two-in and two-out water supply. The same layer of water-cooled pipes uses horizontal connecting pipe assemblies. The water supply pipes are evenly distributed in the circumference, and the furnace body module has 36 sets of inlet and outlet.

4. Selection of wear-resistant castables

The metallurgical properties of the wear-resistant castables used are: refractoriness 1780℃, the highest working temperature 1600℃, density 2.26 t / m 3 , cold crushing strength 27 ~ 29 MPa (ZOOC), 32 ~ 35 MPa (1150℃), porosity 19.5 %~20.0% (at 200℃), 21.2%~22.0% (at 800℃), thermal conductivity of 1.04W/(m·K) (at 350℃), 0.86W/(m·K) (at 610℃) , 0.79 W/(m·K) (at 800℃), the refractoriness under load 1520℃ at 0.2 MPa. After the wear-resistant castable is thoroughly mixed with water, it is poured and naturally dried. The requirements are that the ambient temperature is not less than 10℃, the curing time is greater than 28h, and the optimum time is one week.
