Construction method of refractory castable for blast furnace

The refractory castables for blast furnaces mainly include refractory castables for bottom furnace water-cooled pipes and heat-resistant low-cement corundum castables.

The construction methods are as follows:

(1) Construction method of water-cooled pipe castable at the bottom of the furnace:

A. Before the construction, the foundation surface is cleaned, except for the cooling pipe floating rust, and the cooling pipe is wrapped. The castable is stirred by a forced mixer, and the stirring method is carried out according to the operating procedures.

B. When filling, it should be filled with compaction. Casting is carried out along the center of each column of cooling tubes to both ends and vibrated with a plug-in vibrator.

C. After each column is poured, the residual ash on the pipe wall is wiped clean, covered and watered before the final casting of the castable.

(2) Construction method of heat-resistant concrete and low cement corundum castable

A. Castable is stirred by a forced mixer, and the stirring method is carried out according to the operating procedures and instructions for use.

B. When pouring, it should be filled with compaction and vibrated with a plug-in vibrator to prevent voids inside the castable.

C. After the construction of the castable material, it should be maintained for a period of time before the next process.
