What problems should be paid attention to during the use of fused cast refractory?

Castable refractories are generally used on glass furnaces. Attention should be paid to the following problems in application:

1. Due to the compact structure and low porosity, the fused refractory product has no pores for buffering when subjected to thermal shock and uneven heating, and is easily broken. Therefore, when considering the material selection of the glass kiln, it is better not to use the fused refractory product in a place where the temperature changes greatly.

2. The thermal expansion curve of fused zirconium corundum brick has an abnormal mutation near 1000 °C, and the reversible phase transition of ZrO2 inside the brick body is accompanied by a large volume change. Therefore, when the glass kiln is ignited in the kiln, the temperature rise rate should not be too large or too fast in the temperature range of 900 to 1150 ° C (it is generally recommended that the temperature increase rate does not exceed 15 ° C / h).
