According to the working environment of the mixer and the causes of the damage, the requirements for the refractory materials are analyzed as follows: mechanical strength, strong slag resistance, good thermal shock resistance, low thermal conductivity, and little change in the reheating line. The refractory materials used are magnesia bricks, magnesia chrome bricks, high alumina bricks, clay bricks and some refractory fillers. At the same time, due to the problems of partial damage during the use of the mixer, the refractory spray coating is generally used for repairing. The materials used are determined according to the masonry of the lining. There are two types of lining: magnesium and aluminum-magnesium.
