Product Details

The main component of silicon fine powder is silicon dioxide, which belongs to   acid oxide. It can react with CaO to form CaSiO3 (calcium silicate) at about 800℃, and react with MgO to form MgSiO3 (magnesium silicate) at 1350 ℃. It has great erosive damage for lime kiln, so many lime kiln refractory castables for lime kiln are not allowed to add silicon fine powder (SiO2≥93%).

The mullite steel fiber castable produced by our company is made of fused corundum, bauxite, fused mullite, and nano-scale materials. In the selection of raw materials, we do not add silicon fine powder and no phosphate binder, so as to reduce the thermal reaction between the castable and the alkaline substance in the lime kiln; meanwhile, by adding nano-scale materials, the castable forms the molecular structure strength at high temperature, which further prolongs the service life of the castable; compared with ordinary high aluminum castables, it has higher compressive and bending strength, and good thermal shock stability.

Product features:

1. With good molecular structure strength, the wear resistant coefficient is 1 times higher than the industry standard.

2. With good construction performance, can be applied to the construction needs of different temp sections.

3. With good slag resistant performance, strong erosion resistance, can be used in harsh operating environment and not easy be damaged.

4. With low high temp creep rate, small thermal expansion, and good rapid cooling and thermal resistance.
